Byron Bay, Ballina, Tweed and Lismore LGAs, the following restrictions apply:

๐Ÿ˜ทMasks will be mandatory from 5pm 31/03 while shopping and using public transport, taxis and ride-sharing services and mandatory for hospitality workers. 
โ˜• The four-square-metre rule will apply in hospitality venues, where patrons must also be seated. 
๐Ÿ  Visitors in homes will be capped at 30.
๐ŸŽธ Discussions about Bluesfest Byron Bay underway. 

The State Government is also recommending people in those council areas do not travel elsewhere, however this will not be policed.

โš  NSW Health says anyone who attended the following venues must immediately self isolate and get tested, then remain in isolation for 14 days regardless of the result:

Anyone who attended the following venues is considered a CASUAL CONTACT. If you attended these venues at the listed times you must get tested and self-isolate until you receive a negative result. You should continue to monitor for symptoms and if any symptoms occur, get tested again:
