Artifishal presented by Patagonia - Aug 1
Free Event – Booking Essential
Artifishal is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature.
Closer to home, Tasmania‘s marine environments have also been significantly impacted by industrial salmon farming. Now these farms are setting their sights on King Island – close to the world-class waves of Martha Lavinia Beach-and unwittingly picking a fight with surfers worldwide. Our film Saving Martha looks at the issue of Fish Farming that is impacting wild fish locally.
Join us for a screening of both Artifishal and Saving Martha, hosted by Dave Rastovich and Dan Ross.
